For the past eight years, we have been providing direct training in traditional rice cultivation technology to farmers in our natural farming field-based education program. Hundreds of farmers are trained and benefited every year. This year 21-06-2020 at our farm, we were given the training on “Natural Traditional Rice Cultivation Technology” and “Mr. Alangudi Perumal Traditional Rice Cultivation Technology” through live broadcast.It also illustrated the traditional varieties of traditional rice crop such as 1.poongar, 2. kangkurvai,3. kullankar, 4. 60m kuruvai, 5. singinikar, 6. surakkuruvai, 7. mysurmalli and 8. soramasuri which are currently cultivated in the Kuruvai season. It was participated by the “nel Jayaraman Conservation Center” and the surrounding pioneer nature farmers.
